In the heart of Southwest Florida, the Seminole Casino is located in the town of Immokalee (the Indian word for "my home"), about 45 minutes from both Naples and Fort Myers.
At present, the casino offers 950 gaming machines, with betting levels ranging from 2 cents to $30 per play. The highest jackpot paid out to a single winner to date is $397,000.
Like the other five Seminole casinos in Florida, Immokalee cannot offer real slots, or games like blackjack, roulette and craps -- all of which fall into the category of Class III gaming. While the class II video devices look like slot machines, they are actually bingo games with spinning reels that are for "entertainment purposes only."
The Immokalee casino also has a poker area set off to one side with 16 poker tables. The casino offers Live Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud, and Omaha Hi-Lo games daily with $2 betting levels and no set pot limits. Poker players also are eligible to win the progressive "Bad Beat" jackpot, with $1 contributed from the pot after the first betting round of each hand and the jackpot building until won. The largest "Bad Beat" jackpot paid out in Immokalee to date was $239,870.
The casino also features a Seminole-style restaurant called the "EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill". EE-TO-LEET-KE means "The Camp," traditionally the central gathering and eating place for the Seminole people.
The casino is located five blocks south of Route 29 at 506 South First Street.
