  Florida Day Boat Casino News

There are a variety of casino boats operating in Florida ranging from Port Canaveral's 1,800-passenger Ambassador II and Port Everglade's Discovery Sun cruise ship all the way down to the yacht-sized casino boats that carry 150 passengers.

A couple of these boats are currently either in Chapter 11 or having problems with regulators, and many observers believe that the future of casino boats in Florida will be impacted in a major way by the spread of land-based gaming.

While some of these boats offer free admission, even those that charge now often run special offers and you are likely to find a lower price than the regular brochure rates.

The Florida Casino Report will keep you up-to-date on the day casino boats, as they evolve to deal with Florida's changing gaming landscape.
